The modern Ukrainian labor market is increasingly experiencing a shortage of qualified technical and industrial personnel. At the same time, enterprises need specialists who are able to work with high-tech equipment and implement innovative solutions.
That is why the participation of business in the training of young specialists is a guarantee of stable development of industry and regions. For more than 15 years, the TECHNOLOGIA GROUP has been actively developing a dual form of vocational training – a modern model of cooperation between business, the state and the education sector. This approach allows students to combine theory with real production experience, and enterprises to receive motivated, trained employees.

The history of TECHNOLOGIA GROUP’s partnership with educational institutions began in 2008, when a new specialty, “Printing Production,” was launched in collaboration with the Machine Building Technical College of Sumy State University. The goal was to create a system for training highly specialized printers for the group’s enterprises.
In 2017, the company initiated the “NEW LIFE” project, aimed at taking the training of technical specialists to a new level. The idea was supported by the management of the college, Sumy State University, as well as representatives of local and central authorities.
The result of this joint effort is the region’s first modern dual education center.
Over the course of three years, the following were created:
There are already two centers operating on the basis of educational institutions in Sumy region where students receive education under the dual form:
1. Sumy State University Machine Building College (Center for Dual Education)
2. Sumy Center for Vocational and Technical Education (Educational and Practical Center for Dual Education)
During their studies, students combine theoretical training in classrooms with practical skills training at the enterprises of TECHNOLOGIA GROUP.
At the production facility, they learn flexographic printing technologies, how to work on modern universal machines, and the process of extruding polyethylene film. It is valuable that students not only study technologies, but are also directly involved in the production process. For example, making shoe covers from the resulting film or thermal receipts. And with these finished products, they practice building supply chains to the market.

One of the positive outcomes of dual education is the employment of young professionals immediately after graduation. Most dual-form students remain employed at companies within the group.
Thus, the place of study becomes the first place of work, and the educational process becomes an effective system for training personnel for high-tech businesses.
Positive results inspire the TECHNOLOGIA GROUP’s team to move forward. In the near future, the company plans to expand the dual education program geographically by creating new similar educational centers in the Ternopil, Vinnytsia, and Kyiv regions – where the TECHNOLOGIA GROUP’s enterprises are relocating.
Here, specialists will also be trained in the fields of G11 “Mechanical Engineering” and G20 “Publishing and Printing.”
This will allow:
TECHNOLOGIA GROUP is convinced that by supporting young people, the company creates conditions under which every student can realize their potential, and businesses can obtain qualified specialists.
Dual education is a bridge between theory and practice, between education and real production. We are building this bridge today for a strong, technological, and competitive future for Ukraine.
